Sandrine Holt, born Sandrine Holt in London on the 19th of November 1972. She is the child of Chinese parents as well as French mothers. As a young girl the family relocated from China to Canada. She was a Parisian catwalk-model before her first venture as an actor. Her film debut was as Annuka In Black Robe (1991). The role she played in the film was recognized for The Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). The movies Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed and she also made guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. For John Woo s The Thief she played a major role in the development of the series over 22 episodes. The movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation came out in 2004 which is only available on DVDVHS along with Resident Evil Apocalypse. Holt was offered a bigger character in 24: Twenty Four, as well as Runaway. Holt, who had played in a number of films and television series and guest roles prior to that was offered a significant part on the film Hostages (2013) as well as the role in Netflix's House of Cards. In the US remake of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also cast in the character of Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
